Below, you will find a list of the questions most frequently asked by our guests.
Check-in time?
The check-in time is from 16:00.
If you plan an early check-in before 12:00, you will be charged for the full night accommodation. If the check-in is between 12:00 and 16:00, the hotel will charge an extra £30.00 per room. These have to be pre-booked and are subject to availability.
Check-out time?
The check-out time is at 11:00.
If you request a late check-out between 12:00 and 16:00, the hotel will charge an extra £40.00 per room. After 14:00, the charge is a full night accommodation. Requests are subject to availability.
Is Reception open 24 hours?
Yes, Reception service is available 24 hours.
Which languages are spoken at the hotel?
English, French, Dutch, Italian, Romanian, Cantonese and Greek.
Can I leave my luggage?
Yes, we can look after your luggage at reception.
Internet connection?
A complimentary wireless internet connection is available throughout the hotel.
Which is the nearest airport?
The nearest airport is London Heathrow Airport located 46 miles away.
Which is the nearest train station?
The nearest railway station is the Oxford Railway Station, only 1.3 miles away from the hotel.
Can I call an Uber from the hotel?
No, Uber doesn’t operate in Oxford.
Please, ask Reception if you wish to book a taxi and we will arrange for a taxi to pick you up from the hotel.
Is the hotel in the centre of Oxford?
No, the hotel is located 1 mile away from the city centre.
What is offered at breakfast?
You have a choice of continental breakfast with a wide selection of breakfast items. And a cooked Breakfast offering a full English or Full vegetarian breakfast, Eggs Royale and Eggs Benedict. We also have Gluten Free options available on request.
What time is breakfast served?
Monday to Friday – from 7am to 10am
Saturday and Sunday – from 8am to 10.30am.
Is room service available? If so, at what times?
Room service breakfast is available in the morning. The charge is £5.00.
Drinks orders will be available 24 hours.
Do you have smoking and non-smoking rooms?
No, all of our rooms are non-smoking.
Do you have rooms that have services for those with disabilities?
At the moment these rooms are not available.
Do the bathrooms have baths or showers?
All of our rooms have an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower-over-bath. The Merton suite offers bath and shower separately.
Do you have air-conditioning in the rooms?
No, the hotel doesn’t have air-conditioning. We do provide a fan per room.
How many bars does the hotel have?
The hotel has one bar.
Do you have a restaurant?
Yes, Restaurant 66A is open to residents and non-residents. Pre-booking is required. The kitchen hours are:
Breakfast: 7:00 – 10:00 Monday to Friday; 8:00-10.30 Saturday and Sunday.
Lunch: 12:00 – 14:30
Afternoon Tea: 12:00 – 18:00
Dinner: 18:00 – 21:00
Do you have gym facilities/swimming pool/spa?
No.
Is there a car park on-site? If so, what is the cost?
Our hotel has free car parking, which works on a first-come-first-serve basis. Spaces are subject to availability. We cannot reserve a parking space.
On-street metered parking is available outside the hotel.
Are pets allowed to stay at the hotel?
No.
Is it cheaper to book direct?
Yes, give us a ring or send us an email, and the reception team will offer you our best available rates.
Are the prices quoted per room or per person?
The prices quoted are always per room per night.
Do you have lifts in the hotel?
No. Rooms are located over three floors. Please contact the hotel directly to request a Ground Floor room – subject to availability.
Do you have a hotel porter?
No, but feel free to ask a member of staff to help carry your luggage to your room.
Do children stay for free?
Children between the ages of 0 – 2 years stay for free. Cots are available, subject to availability.
Children between the ages of 3 – 13 years will be charged for an extra Z-bed at £30.00 per child per night.
Is it possible to have a cot/child’s bed in the room? If so, at what price?
Cots are free of charge. But it depends on the category of room selected.
Z-beds are charged at £30.00 per child per night. The Z-bed is suitable for children between the ages of 3 and 13 years old. The Z-bed isn’t suitable for adults.
How many extra beds can I add to my room?
The maximum number of extra beds and cots allowed is dependent on the room you choose. Extra beds can only be added to Deluxe rooms.
All cots and extra beds are subject to availability.
Do you have any family rooms?
No. Our Deluxe rooms are the only rooms allowing for an extra child’s bed.
Do you have any connecting rooms?
No.
When do I need to pay for the accommodation?
Payment of any outstanding balance is made when you check-out. However, payment must be guaranteed when you check in. Therefore, the reception staff will do a pre-authorisation on your credit card upon arrival. This amount will be frozen and released at the end of your stay.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, we accept Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Mastercard.
We are currently unable to take payments from American Express Cards.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 48 HOURS prior to 4.00 PM on the day of arrival are free of charge. Any cancellations made less than 48 hours prior arrival will be charged in full. In the event of a no-show, the guest will be charged in full.
